Two Weeks!

My Sisterlocks are two weeks old! My feelings???? STILL loving them. I roll the ends and go a two without doing anything other than taking my bonnet off and fluffing! Ha! Sooo loving it! YES! I have hand in hair diease! I've gotten a lot of compliments and questions. Most ppl think they're "little" braids. The most irksome comment that I've heard more than once- "I could have did that for you." Yeah? Really?

I banded and washed my hair yesterday with the Sisterlocks Starter Shampoo. I don't think I banded right. I didn't put the rubber band on where the locks stopped on all of them. I was in another world when that water hit my scalp! I thought I was going to go crazy not being able to wash my hair. I washed four times. I attempted to count when taking the bands down but lost count several times. At best I can say 300 give or take a few. I'll try again next week.

My 1st attempt at banding without a mirror. I went back and made smaller sections and made sure the ends were tucked.

One Week Sisterlocked!!!

Soooo...I've had my Sisterlocks for one week and.......I LOVE them!

Day 5/6

Ok! My ends were straight when I got yesterday (Day 5)morning. I finger combed it to make it look a little decent and hit the road. Later it looked even worse. I wet my fingers a little and rubbed it on the ends. I promise it was only a little bit not even enough to drip off my fingers. I know still a NONO! I rolled it and here are the results. For the most part I don't try to do anything fancy for work since pulling my headset on and off usually wrecks it. I still want to look presentable though. When I got off (day 6) I still had curls! Will I do this often? No. Scared I'll mess the locks up.

SisterLocks Day 4

Not feeling good today. This is my attempt to make myself feel a little better. You know how the old folks say put on some clothes and fix yourself up you might feel a little better. :)

Flat Iron OOOOOH!!!!

Put the flat iron on the lowest setting and turn the ends on the sides and top under. I didn't let it stay long since I'm unable to use any heat protector. This pic was taken the next day on Day 3

 Wrapped my hair up this morning and decided to just fluff and go. Going to leave it alone as much as possible without looking a total mess.

Day 3 = Sisterlocks!!!

I went early this morning and got started. 2 1/2 hours later and I have SISTERLOCKS!!!! Total of 9.5hrs Med/Small Reverse 4 pattern. I'll count them on my first wash. Thinking about counting them right now is a little imtimedating She cut most of the ends in the back and some in the top. Ok from now on I will be posting the good the bad and the not so pretty!

LOL I told you I was going to post the not so pretty. I'd just gotten up and taken the rollers out. I'll take my time next time. Gotta get smaller rods or do smaller sections.
