One Week Sisterlocked!!!

Soooo...I've had my Sisterlocks for one week and.......I LOVE them!

Day 5/6

Ok! My ends were straight when I got yesterday (Day 5)morning. I finger combed it to make it look a little decent and hit the road. Later it looked even worse. I wet my fingers a little and rubbed it on the ends. I promise it was only a little bit not even enough to drip off my fingers. I know still a NONO! I rolled it and here are the results. For the most part I don't try to do anything fancy for work since pulling my headset on and off usually wrecks it. I still want to look presentable though. When I got off (day 6) I still had curls! Will I do this often? No. Scared I'll mess the locks up.

SisterLocks Day 4

Not feeling good today. This is my attempt to make myself feel a little better. You know how the old folks say put on some clothes and fix yourself up you might feel a little better. :)

Flat Iron OOOOOH!!!!

Put the flat iron on the lowest setting and turn the ends on the sides and top under. I didn't let it stay long since I'm unable to use any heat protector. This pic was taken the next day on Day 3

Leaving It Alone

 Wrapped my hair up this morning and decided to just fluff and go. Going to leave it alone as much as possible without looking a total mess.

Day 3 = Sisterlocks!!!

I went early this morning and got started. 2 1/2 hours later and I have SISTERLOCKS!!!! Total of 9.5hrs Med/Small Reverse 4 pattern. I'll count them on my first wash. Thinking about counting them right now is a little imtimedating She cut most of the ends in the back and some in the top. Ok from now on I will be posting the good the bad and the not so pretty!

LOL I told you I was going to post the not so pretty. I'd just gotten up and taken the rollers out. I'll take my time next time. Gotta get smaller rods or do smaller sections.

Day 2 of the Install

Day 2 -I'm ready to see what it's going to look like!

On my way to do another four hours. Only a DIVA can step out with her head half done and act like she just stepped out of a salon!

Hey! Hey! We have Sisterlocks (one section anyway lol)

I got there and she gave me two chances to back out. NOPE!!!!  My consultant is the sweetest. We laughed and talked the entire four hours. I go back for four more hours. It didn't hurt while she was doing it but now my head is SORE!!!! Didn't cut the permed ends but I'm loving it anyway!

Time to Wash Before the Install

Soooo, today is the day of my install!!! Now time to wash. I grabbed my baby shampoo, towel, and bands.I brought some no snag ponytail holders to band with.

   They were too big so I used regular rubber bands.

I was nervous about doing something wrong but everything turned out fine. Now to wait until appointment time this evening.....

Day 4 with Testers

It's been sooo hard keeping my hands out of my head but I've managed...well for the most part anyway. I've counted my little babies at least two a day to make sure they're still there! They've curled up. So cute. I really want the relaxed ends cut! We'll see.
